A bit about us
We were formed just over five years ago in the Brewery pub in Berry Street, Liverpool and now have six meeting places on Merseyside. For details see our web site philosophyinpubs.org.uk.
What we do
PIP's are a group of people who enjoy the stimulation of philosophical enquiry. Carried out, in the relaxed atmosphere of pubs, wine bars, coffee shops, etc. All the venues are on Merseyside and are run on a weekly, biweekly or monthly basis. The group is unfunded, informal and open to all. Its aim is simple: to allow people a space to express and discuss their ideas and thoughts, and to learn from each other in an open and friendly atmosphere.
Our enquiries are on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month at the Woodside Ferry Cafe at 2pm.
